There are 196 lots in this month's KitPlus Auctions sale, but you don't need to work through all of them to find the interesting bits. Two matched cine lens sets lead the catalogue, with Sony FX6 cameras, a ten-panel Planar video wall, unused 8K monitors, Avid shared storage and plenty of practical production kit behind them.

Three good reasons to open the catalogue
TLS Vega + Cooke S4/i
Two complete matched sets in the same auction is unusual - and a much easier route than building a set lens by lens.
FX6, PTZ, monitoring and support
Useful kit you can put straight into a workflow, including Sony FX6, GH5, PTZ cameras, Lilliput monitors, Aputure lighting and tripods.
Planar, Avid, Cisco and switching
A ten-panel video wall, Avid NEXIS storage, networking, ATEM and TriCaster switching give facility buyers a very different route through the sale.
Start with the lenses
It isn't often that two matched cine lens sets appear in the same sale. The TLS Vega set covers eight focal lengths from 20mm to 135mm, while the Cooke S4/i set brings six PL mount primes from 18mm to 100mm at T2.0.
For rental companies, DPs and production teams, the benefit is straightforward: a matched set in one transaction, rather than months of hunting for compatible lenses one at a time. That's why these are the natural headline lots in August.
There is useful camera kit around them too. Two Sony FX6 kits come with 70-200mm f/2.8 G Master lenses, alongside Panasonic GH5 kits, Sony a7S II/a7S III packages, PMW/PXW camcorders and PTZOptics NDI cameras.

Monitoring & live production
The Planar Clarity Matrix video wall is ten 55-inch tiles with controllers, frame and cabling. There are also boxed Lilliput 8K/12G-SDI monitors, Atomos monitoring, Blackmagic ATEM switchers and a TriCaster TC8000.
Audio, comms & contribution
There's a good spread of broadcast audio, including Glensound commentary kit, Sennheiser and Shure microphones, CTP talkback and ten matching Sony XLR audio adapters. Teradek, Dejero and Mobile Viewpoint cover remote contribution.
Post, storage & support
An Avid NEXIS E2 60TB and second NEXIS server sit alongside Cisco Nexus networking. Support and lighting includes E-Image systems, Sachtler and Aputure lighting.
Different buyers will find different value
You don't need to be interested in the whole catalogue. The useful thing about a sale this broad is that there are several sensible entry points.
Start with the matched lens sets, FX6 kits and camera accessories.
Look at the Planar wall, NEXIS storage, networking, audio, comms and switching.
There is plenty of practical working stock in monitoring, lighting, tripods, audio and smaller camera kits.
